MA Board is available in thicknesses from 1/8" to 1" and from 3 PCF to 20 PCF. Typical uses for MA Board are acoustical treatments for office partitions, acoustical tack board, wall and ceiling panels, appliance insulation, and hanging baffles.
Acoustical Properties
Per ASTM C423, Mounting A
MA-Board is made of inorganic fiberglass bonded with a thermo-setting resin. By a heated and pressure process, the fibers are molded into flat pressed MA-Boards of varied thickness and densities, or pressed molded and trimmed to your specifications. Our waterjet and robot capabilities enable MAP to cut made-to-order length and width, cutouts, slits, holes, and angles without high cost penalty for special tooling or cutting dies.
